Define your £500k+ yacht brief

A good brief starts with how you want to use your yacht. The badge and the specification come next.

Picture a typical day on board

Will you spend weekends near home, cruise for several weeks, or entertain guests in the Mediterranean? Tell us how many people will usually be aboard, how many cabins you need and whether overnight stays are central to the plan.

Set the purchase range

Give a realistic range from £500,000 upwards. Separately, ask a broker or appropriate adviser about the costs of berthing, insurance, maintenance, crew and operating the particular yacht. The purchase price is only one part of ownership.

Choose your essentials

Describe the features that matter most: layout, outdoor space, cruising speed, age, condition or a preferred brand. Tell us where you can travel for a viewing, whether you have a boat to sell and when you would like to buy.

Bring a brief, not a commitment

An enquiry is an invitation to discuss your requirements. Availability, specifications and suitability still need to be confirmed with the seller or listing broker. Our introduction service does not replace their advice or an independent inspection.
